EHF Grassroots Convention 2024

EHF Grassroots Convention takes centre stage alongside the Men's EHF EURO 2024

On 14 January 2024, the EHF launched the very first EHF Grassroots Convention, which ran alongside the Men’s EHF EURO 2024 in Munich, Germany.

Grassroots handball is the foundation for everything we do at the EHF, in the federations and foremost in our clubs – that is why the EHF see it as a fundamental objective to support all the people involved and develop it further so our kids can grow, have fun and bring the handball spirit into the world.

The convention brought together people from all over Europe for a day all about the latest developments, initiatives and innovations around grassroots sports.

The convention explored the core elements of sports, with more than 25 speakers who shared their insights and brought valuable perspectives to the world of handball, covering coaching, education, safeguarding topics, presenting best practice cases and more.
