EHF Grassroots Convention 2026

The event, which will bring together people from all over Europe to talk all about the latest developments, initiatives and innovations around grassroots sports, will be held on the fringes of the Men's EHF EURO 2026 in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. All the presentations, keynotes and panels at the two-day event in the Swedish city of Malmö will fall under the following topics:

• youth academies and best practice models
• athlete development pathways
• grassroots development strategies 
• mental health and injury prevention 
• women in leadership

REGISTRATION

Registration is now open. You can secure your place here until 19 December and choose from a variety of packages to attend the Grassroots Convention 2026:

• Convention only = 199€ 
• Convention and match ticket (21 January) = 259€ 
• Convention and match ticket (23 January) = 289€
• Convention and match tickets (21 & 23 January) = 349€

Note: Registration includes admission to all sessions, coffee breaks and lunch, as well as attendance at the networking event on 22 January. If you select a package with match tickets in Malmö, please note that these are category 1 match tickets. Registration does not include travel, transportation or accommodation.  

PROGRAMME

More than 15 renowned speakers, including both handball experts and specialists from other sports, will enrich the event, providing invaluable insights and presenting best practice cases to all the participants, as well as giving opportunities for discussions and networking. 

Activities will be divided between two meeting rooms. The keynotes and panels will be held in the main room, while the subsequent breakout sessions will run in parallel in two rooms. The EHF Grassroots Convention will open doors on Thursday morning, 22 January, and will close at 12:00 CET on Friday 23 January.
