WHAT IS THE EHF COACHES FORUM 2027?

The EHF Coaches Forum 2027 brings together leaders and experts from the European handball community to discuss the key topics related to handball coaching — from dealing with the future of coaching at all levels to the similarities and differences in coaching men and women.

While the EHF held a Goalkeeper Summit in 2025 — which will return in 2027 — the EHF Coaches Forum will be the first EHF event of its kind, gathering coaches together to share their expertise on various topics:

The characteristics of a handball coach of the 21st century
How to deal with pressure and failure
How to build a learning culture around the team? How to motivate players to learn?
Handball of the future
The differences and similarities in coaching men's and women's teams

Programme

On one main stage, six keynote speakers will give lectures and presentations on their areas of expertise, plus there will be three discussion panels debating some of the current issues arising in handball coaching.

There will be plenty of time allocated for Q&A and discussion sessions during the programme, giving participants the chance to ask their questions and make their contributions.

The programme will also include a networking event on the evening of 22 February, giving all participants the opportunity to connect with fellow coaches and experts from across Europe.

The EHF Coaches Forum will also serve as an opportunity for Pro Licence renewal. More details will be shared in due course.
