You can be one of the most talented players on the handball circuit but never get to play a major international competition in front of your family and friends. At 31, Poland captain Monika Kobylińska is finally going to live the dream that never comes true for many, when her nation plays host to the Women's EHF EURO 2026. "It’s been 11 years that I have been playing with the national team, and I have been through a lot. But playing a EURO at home, never!" she smiles. "It feels like a unique, once-in-a-career experience."
