The 8th EHF Scientific Conference aims to bring together scientific and professional experts to bridge the gap between theory and practice in handball, with a strong focus on sustainability and lifelong participation. A key theme will be the "Circle of a Handball Life", emphasizing that engagement in sports should begin at a young age and continue throughout life. Moreover, the conference will address ways to reduce the physical and mental toll on players and promote long-term well-being. By focusing on the evolving needs of athletes and society, experts will examine how training methods, technological advancements, and education can support handball’s long-term development.
For the first time, there is an opportunity to submit articles to a special issue of the high-impact journal Frontiers in Sports and Active Living. To participate in the conference, please register and submit your abstract by 15 July 2025, with full conference papers due by 3 October 2025.
